Cottonwood Bridal (CWB) is hiring a part-time Bridal Stylist for our location in Conroe, Texas.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Bridal Stylist at Cottonwood Bridal, you play a vital role in supporting our sales efforts and the care of our customers. You’ll be responsible for helping brides select their dream wedding dresses and any accessories by understanding their personal style, body type, and wedding theme, providing personalized recommendations, assisting with trying on gowns, and ensuring an excellent experience throughout the process. You’ll also be expected to maintain the appearance of our store, schedule customer appointments, perform administrative duties, complete sales transactions, and more. You’ll work closely with the Owner, contributing directly to the successful operation of the business.

This position requires 3 to 4 working days per week, averaging 18 to 24 hours weekly, with availability on Saturdays, and potentially Sundays in the future.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide a professional and personalized shopping experience, guiding brides in selecting their dream gowns and accessories.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of designers, collections, fabrics, fits, and alterations to confidently assist customers.
  • Achieve individual and team sales goals through effective communication, upselling, and relationship-building.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to support and uphold a positive work environment.
  • Schedule and manage customer appointments efficiently, seeing to the highest level of service.
  • Assist with maintaining the store’s visual presentation, ensuring displays are appealing and align with brand standards.
  • Handle documents, phone calls, emails, and other correspondence with customers with the utmost professionalism.
  • Be confident in working independently, as there may be times when you’re the sole staff member in the store.
  • Complete transactions, process orders, and assist with inventory management as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with current bridal fashion trends and styles.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Availability to work Saturdays
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in bridal or retail
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience, with skills in upselling; previous experience in bridal sales is highly preferred, but similar industries will be considered
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, and with software such as POS systems, CRM tools, and Zoom
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (e.g., mannequins, boxes, and gowns)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to manage multiple appointments and keep fittings on schedule
  • Strong attention to detail when taking measurements and placing orders
  • Effective organizational skills to manage follow-ups and maintain client records
  • Persuasive closing techniques that maintain a warm and supportive approach
  • Ability to handle objections and guide brides toward confident purchasing decisions
  • Familiarity with commission-based compensation structures
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding weekly and monthly goals

JOB TYPE

  • Part-time, with the potential to transition to full-time employment

PAY

  • Total potential earnings can reach up to $32 per hour!
